Smaller then small, fatter then fat

An interesting fact is that once when I was a handful kilos more firmly on the ground then I'm today, I was in the US and looked for a shirt. It turned out that even S was to big for me, and although in the end I did find one, they first directed me to the kids department.

Now when I was looking at a shirt in China, being the handful of kilos thinner, I was not able to fit in my usual M, I was not fit for L, I wasn't even fit for XL - I had to go with XXL to be able to button it up!
